Effective teaching and learning is the principal concern of learning providers, and the RSC can help you access the potential of new and emerging technology. Technology provides additional tools that teachers can harness to provide for variety, motivation, accessibility, differentiation and creativity.

Although the pedagogy of e-learning is still evolving, the effective use of technology raises the quality of the learner experience. Many learners have access to personal technolgy, well developed technology skills and the expectation that technology is prominent in their learning. 

We can support your subject teaching by helping you to:

• explore the blend of on-line and face to face learning
• create e-assessments giving fast frequent feedback to learners
• use multi-media tools
• conduct questionnaires to explore the learner experience of technology
• meet individual learner needs
• network with colleagues in other institutions via the ILT regional forum and ILT email discussion list
• provide on-site staff development tailored to your needs
• provide regional training events
