RSC support with Bidding for Funding

With organisations such as JISC, the Association of Learning Providers and Becta continuing to provide funding for learning technology-based projects, learning providers have the opportunity to engage in innovative development work that might not otherwise be possible.

Successfully bidding for this funding can, however, be a challenge. With this in mind, the Regional Support Centre provides a funding support service.

This service includes:

• Help with locating sources of funding
• Guidance on scoping out a funding call and deciding whether to bid
• Advice on producing an effective bid, including both general advice on good practice and specific tips for producing a strong learning technology bid
• Providing information on suitable technologies and other relevant projects or development work
• Reading your bid through before submission

If your bid is successful, we can also provide support with your project. This might involve attending the project steering group, help with identifying suitable technologies and help in disseminating project outputs.

This service is supported with a course on the RSC Moodle, where you will find some excellent advice from experts who regularly mark funding bids.
